Subject: Edelbrock Air Filters IP: Logged
Message: I've been wanting to get one of those Edelbrock Chrome Air Filters some of you have been talking about and I was wondering if someone could give me a list of everything I'd have to buy to put one on my 98 Dakota (including the sizes since I don't know jack about engines). I know this probably won't give me any power increase since I don't have an induction type hood or anything ( is that right?), but I shouldn't have a DECREASE in power, right?

Message: Just get a K&N drop in for your stock unit, the
stock unit is already a type of cold air setup
its just the paper filter does not flow as well
as a cotton gause filter like K&N or other
cotton filters.
It will give you a little better throttle response
and help gas milage.

Message: Hmmm...I never knew that. Sounds a lot easier than switching everything around. I guess I'll go for that. Now I just need a lil more money for a K&N. Thanks.
