Message: You need to scan it for codes. Could be a shift solenoid problem.

Message: My overdrive problem was a bad Vehicle Speed Sensor...50 bucks and 5 minutes and now O/D works like a champ. But I have a 92, so don't know what year you have.

Message: I agree with the VSS. If I unplug mine it won't shift up to OD. Check the wiring down at the tranny.

Message: temporary fix to this is to tap with a light screwdriver while it is rotated upside down..for some dumb reason the magnets slip together enough to run correctly..but i do mean temporary..1-2 yrs max...lol..now if i only found that out 3 VSS's ago...lol
