First let me say that this site is friggin great! I've been browsing around for the last two hours instead of working, lots of good info here.
Second, I just got a 97 3.9 4X4 with 126000 miles on it and the steering wheel clunks at the same spot when you turn it. I thought it was the intermediate shaft so I changed it and that didnt solve the problem. any ideas?
And how much of a pain is it to change the timing belt on the 3.9?
Thanks.
Tim

Dont know about the timing belt, but I think your problem would be the CV axles.. My Aspire does this and I plan on replacing them soon.
