Subject: clickin noise while turning IP: Logged
Message: 1st of all thank god for this web site, i am happy to have found a dodge dakota family out there, ok when i turn my steering wheel, aside from my power steering pump winding i dont know why it dies i have enough fluid, i hear a clicking sound comming from the front axle somewhere. any1 know what that is? 1999 dakota v6 3.9

Message: Mikie D. I have that problem as well. Apparently the wheel bolts on dakotas do not have enough threads per square inch. so they are weak. The last time that happened to me one of my wheel bolts broke off shortly after. I am not promising that is what it is, but the first time it happened to me I took it to the dealership and the mechanic told me this info.
