under the driverside door IN the frame rail..piece of cake to change..just pull the relay for the fuel pump and start truck till it dies so pressure is gone..

I have a 94 Dakota. Mine is in the tank. Why the hell did they have to change it? When my pump went, I had a full tank of gas. What a pain in the ass that was to change.

I have a 92 and let my truck sit over night then opened the gas tank lid. Some gas came out, but there was no pressure. Very simple, takes about 10minutes. Just make sure you secure it and check for leaks.
