 Subject: New gauges

I am installing new face gauges on my 99 dakota. I have the whole instrument panel out and cannot figure out how to get the needles off. Also, i am putting in new A/C gauges and cannot get the knobs off. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

i did the same on my dakota when you get the insert they give you a little tool to pop off the needles

To get the needles off you can use a fork (yep, just a regular fork out of your kitchen). For the A/C knobs turn them to the 12 o'clock position then pull straight out.
