Message: How much is the bid,
If you want to try one I will sell you one I have
here cheap.
Its the helix power tower like they sell at summit
racing.com
In the box with the 4 longer bolts you would have
to get 2 new gaskits about $4 and bolt it on.
It makes it sound like a turbo, it did up the
milage on a stock 3.9 but that was all we noticed
about a 1mpg increase.

for $30 just drop me an email and I will
send you my address where you can send a
money order.
Its just sitting on a shelf in my garage
collecting dust.
In origanal box with bolts I do have the 2 old
gaskits that came with it if you want them but
I would just get 2 new ones there cheap insurance.

Message: hey larry, if it gives you an extra mile per gallon, why is it on yourshelf rather then on the truck? You say 1mpg increase on a stock 3.9, what about a 3.9 with a few mods? I might be interested in trying it out. thanks

Message: After I did all my mods I never used it. I got
it a few years back, I thought about trying it
again but I have a 48mm F&B now and there is
nothing on the markit that will out flow that
on a V6
stock V6 body 42 or 44mm will flow around 400cfm
stock V8 body flows 600 to 635 they say
F&B flows 660cfm that is a proven fact.
I am stroked,custom cam, 1.7's, 9.8 to 1 pistons
mod intake manifold ram air headers MSD ported
heads.
and just about everything you can do to a V6
short of a blower.
It showed no gains on the Dyno it did give it
1 mpg and seamed a little better response but
no hp or torque so I took it of and moded the
hell out of my V6, just over $6000 worth, Its
built to the max.
If you want it let me know.
I get 24 25 on the highway with my V6 and its a 4X4.

Message: If you do a search, this has been discussed ad nauseum and the same answer always comes up: they don't work. Our engines are bottom feeders. Fuel is injected below the TB. All these spacers do for us is in effect increase the volume of your intake manifold. If anthing you want to decrease the size of that beer keg to improve throttle response. If you want a spacer really bad, then buy a Camaro or some other muscle car. It will work on those.

Message: Well i put the throddle body spacer and the air intake on Thurs. and the truck has a much better throddle responce and of course the intake letting the engine gulp in that air, gas milage has improoved as well. Now what i am looking at doing is swaping the throddle body with a stock 318 throddle body off a magum V8. So far though the Airaid intake and t.b. spacer have improoved my perfomance.
