Subject: FMS Injector Question IP: Logged
Message: I have the opportunity to get 19# FMS injectors... as for mods to my truck so far, I only have a brass cap/rotor, cold air intake, autolite 3923s, and 180 thermostat, and Im getting a v8 TB soon... my question is would the FMS injectors be a good idea at this point?
Thanks!

Message: I run the 19# FMS design II injectors in my 95
3.9 and they work very well.
be sure they are the right ones.
Bosch 0280150556 D5B-19lb*
what year is your truck the newer 3.9's run the 24#
be sure or you would be downgrading your injectors.
Smother idle, better midrange and I gained 1 mpg
with them.
They have 4 holes not 1 like the mopars and give
a better spray pattern.
You can find out more about them at Bruce's site
http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/Injector_Sets.asp
He also has the design III now with the rect plug that
will work on the Daks with 6 hole design and even
a better spray pattern, I am thinking about trying
these myself. 0280155909-F83E - 19lb*
I get all our replacement injectors from Bruce, he is
a great guy to deal with and really knows his injectors.
My comments on his site, About the 6th one down
http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/Testimonials_Page.html
If you have any questions just give Bruce a call and he
will be glad to help you out.

Message: Mat,
If the stock injectors on your truck are dark blue
than you have the 14 15 and the replacement FMS
would be D5b 19# Balck/Orange
The Silver/Orange are Bosch 0280150909-E5TE*
also 19# but reconditioned Blueprinted, and
matched injectors.
If they are red they are the 21 and you would
need the 21 Bosch 0280150561 D9B-21lb* which
are pinkish purple/black

Message: I just got my buddies old ones from his Mustang when he just put on 24# injectors (he sold them to me for the right price of $50.00), I've only had them on for about 24 hours, and I've noticed the smoother idle, higher mid/high end, but I seem to have lost a little low-end torque somehow.
