 Subject: Problems w/ A/C after letting off Gas

Ok, I have noticed recently that when the A/C is running and I let off the gas pedal it really drags the truck down. It almost feels like it is down shifting or I have the emergency brake on. I can see the speed drop fast and the truck has a drag feeling to it like I am hauling something that is not very aerodynamic... So if I turn off the A/C it feels fine... Am I running low of coolant and causing friction on the compressor or am I just nuts?
