The Mods:

What more can I do besides getting headers? Who do you all recommend for headers for my truck?

Message: Get a new throttle body, either an F & B or some people get a V8 Throttle body. Another good idea is to get different gears installed in your rear end but this will kill your gas mileage. Good luck!

Message: New tires, jack it down maybe (i dunno what it looks like right now), get some computer chip mods maybe, new lights, grille, hood scoop.
Just some stuff that can be done.

Message: why would you lower a 4x4 ray?
you can get new rollers, msd ignition, definatly a new performance tb, or you can mod your stock one. I'd save the rice upgrades until you've done all you want too performance wise.

Message: I agree Jeremy. I dont think new lights and a grill will give it much more horses (no offense), but a new tb is a good route to take. Im glad I installed an F & B on mine.

Message: he said mods...he didnt say performance mods. I overlooked the 4x4 part. Dropping a truck isnt always a ricer thing...sometimes (or a lot of the times) it helps. Like with my truck, when i drop it, the reason why im dropping it, is to get rid of body roll and to make it a bit more arrowdynamic.
Now that i realize this is a 4x4...get some swampers on that baby.

Message: Well everyone answered your first question, but no one answered the second one! JBA Headers is the only way to go for the 3.9 I have a set myself and have never had a leak or any problems.

Message: hey ryan. I have a 40 series flowmaster, and 2 1/2 inch pipes all the way out. It sounds about as good as a v6 can sound i guess. What kind of exhaust to do you have? And what effect did the headers have on the sound?
