Subject: Noise-canceling resonator IP: Logged
Message: Personally I would like to sneak up on my competition....On Horsepower TV that they mentioned that the Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust for the Impala they were setting up has an optional noise-canceling resonator. Does anyone have any details on this or any similar product for the Dak?

Message: there is a product in j c whitney that allows you to set up two seperat sytems and use them at a flip of a switch. I'm not sure how this would work on a truck, but i have one on my boat. I have the normal stock set up on one setting and then i can flip it so i bypasses the muffler all together. I imagine this would work well on the truck except you'd have to have two exhausts.

Message: Thanks for the tip Jeremy, but that is not quite what I was looking for. Maybe I am phrasing this poorly. What I am looking for is something in addition to a free flowing muffler and cat to keep the truck quiet. I want to keep the performance, just loose the extra sound.
Anyone???

Message: You could have done a search on this site & found that www.jcw.com offers a full line of resonators for as little as $24 each in their catalog, or $31 each on line.
the jcw.com site has a search area too... You will find what your looking for there.
