I have a dynomax single in dual out. I think maybe its a super turbo, but im not sure. I got it off my buddys 318 Ram. I have cat cut running into a turbo tube then into the dynomax and it sounds good. Good volume and nice tone. By the way i have a 92 3.9 auto w/3"inch tips

I have the Dnyomax 17443
it's great, I love it, not to loud but more get up and go.
I have heard about the ultra-flo but I didn't have the bucks for one of those.

Thanks guys, and BTW Monkey_Man... jegs.com has the dynomax single in, single out kits, with either the super turbo or the ultra-flo muffler for $199.99. Heres a link for everyone who cares. The part numbers are 289-17353 for the super turbo, and 289-17359 for the ultra-flo.

I actually bought the Ultra Flo cat-back, that you mentioned, from Jeg's. Sadly, it's still sitting in the garage and not on the truck. I should have it installed within a week.
Dynomax was running a $25 rebate on that system from March through May of this year, which is what swayed me to get it.
From the description that I read about it, it is supposed to give it a nice growl, but not too loud, along with improving the flow of the exhaust. I also wanted a stainless steel setup, like I have on my 'stang GT. The difference is that with the stang, I went with a Magnaflow system.
I can post pictures of it after I install it, if you are interested.

I'm back. The Dynomax Ultra-Flo cat-back is on the truck. I wasn't sure what to expect, since I haven't heard one of these on a Dak anywhere.
Normally, I would have installed this one myself, but I didn't feel like dealing with all of the rust and metal shavings from the orignal all over my garage floor. I had sheered a bolt off while trying to get the pipe clamps undone. My patience was also running thin on Sunday. So, I punted and off to Midas I went.
When I picked it up, the guy told me, before I heard it on, that it sounded like a V8. After turning it on...I wouldn't quite say that. It had a deeper and little louder note than it originally did. It sounded alright, but it is on the verge of a ricer. Maybe it's just me. I'm waiting on it to break in a bit more, but I guess that I should have suspected something like that, since it is a V6. It doesn't sound bad, but I guess that I'm just used to hearing the dual Magnaflow on my 4.6 V8 Stang.
For what I wanted, this does the trick. It looks nice, sounds o.k., and most important to me is that it is stainless steel (no more rust). It's dark out right now, but I can post pics of it (and the Mustang) sometime either tomorrow or Wednesday if anyone is interested. I might be able to do a video clip (which would have sound), but I'd need server space or any e-mail address for me to upload it or e-mail it to you. Let me know.
