Message: The 50mm F&B is a bit big for a 3.9L, unless you run a turbo/supercharger-- a stroked 3.9L works well with a 50mm.
The 48mm is the way to go.

Message: I got my 48mm from Jonas at elitecustoms.com all
you have to do is tell him what cable setup you
have and Bruce Bridges at flowmetrics F&B can
put the linkage you need on the body so you don't
need to change the cable.
Its running my stroked 3.9 just fine.
I have spoken with Bruce from F&B on the phone
quite a few times waiting for his Hemi Throttle
Body to get done. I want one for my Hemi Truck
http://www.exc40.com/hemi
I would have gotten it from sam above but at the
time he was just using paypal so he sent me to
Jonas at elite customs another great gut to deal
with.
I will be faxing Jonas our Tax ID and plan on
buying a lot more from him. And he is only like
300 miles from our shop. Sams in CA.
I will be gettin my full length headers and the
dual stainles 4.0 MBRP Exh from Jonas for the
hemi truck and I am sure I will also go throw him
for the Hemi TB
Sam Seen your Vids on KRC at the strip. COOL
Sam I supose by now you got a merchants acct to
accept credit cards maybe we can do some business
in the future I will be looking for 2 cams for 3.9
1 custom grind to run with the 1.7's and a pre mag
1990 3.9 that I just bought for my next build my
95 is done now.

Message: Yes a direct bolt on mod but I would get a new
gaskit a dollar or 2.
Just use all your sensors you have on the V6 body
because you know they are good.
The F&B comes with a new gasket and all new
stainless steel allen head screws to put your
TPS, MAP, and IAC on and 4 new bolts to bolt
it down.

Message: I was told by my cousin that if you take a v8 tb and put it on a v6 it gives more gas in turn you get more power but he also said if you dont reprogram the computer the o2 sensor will sense you are burning to rich and lean out the fuel till you are back to that of the v6 tb.Can anyone tell me if this is true. Thanks

Message: You get more air with a bigger body not fuel
and the computer will compensate.
Just reset your computer after you install the
TB disconect your Neg battery cable go in the
truck and turn the key like you are going to
start and hold on start for 20 30 seconds.
Now shut the key off and reconect the battery.
The computer will relearn the new body and the
O2 will read the oxegin in the exhaust and trim
the injectors to run the right air fuel ratio
with more air. Same ratio just more of it.
A V8 body will add like 15 to 18 RWHP no it will
not trim the injectors back to what they were
with the V6 body and run lean, not posible with
the systems on these trucks.
Your cusin needs to read more about the OBD
Systems
