Message: does anyone know if you can put a v8 in a 1987 dakota 4x4 that had a 3.9 liter v6 in it? if i can what do i need to do????????????? please help desperate.
Message: Yes you can. BUT. It's going to be a nightmare. You need a wrecked truck with the V8 you are going to use. You need the Engine, Tranny, Engine Wiring harness, Truck wiring harness and all the "Under Dash" stuff.
More nightmare than benefit.
