hey i have a 3.9L 1998 regular cab dakota dakota... i am going to get a 50 series flowmaster welded on.. my cat went bad so im just gonna have that hollowed out and put the new muffler in place of the old muffler.. to order i need to know what size inlet i need.. i cant figure out if its 2 1/4 inches piping or 2 1/2 inches..???
im going to put a turndown tip on the outlet so it will be hidden.

dont get a 50 series, they are just like stock. get 40 series delta flow, you wont be dissapointed. the pipes are 2 1/2 inches
