I have a 89 dodge dakota with a 3.9L and i want to put a 1982 dodge 318 in it. It has 4 wheel drive with a 5 speed tranny in it. What will i need and can i do it?

I am trying to put a 65'318 in to my 88 Dakota now how do you get the motor mounts to sit on the cros-member what do i use for motor mounts and adpters

A '65 318 is a wide block. Are you sure it will fit?
I put a '68 318 in a Jeep Comanche. Tight but MY:) what a package!
I made my own engine mounts using truck rubber insulator mounts. Mount the tranny in then line up the engine and make'er fit from there.

hey guys...i am new to the site..i had just purchased a v6 dakota. it is a dakota sport 2000 with a v6 in it. Now I am 19 years old but i have more than average mechanical knowledge. I was wondering because I want more power in the thing, I was looking in the paper and there was an ad for a v8 250 engine. i will post the ad in my next post.
