I have a 92 3.9 auto ex cab w/ open air filter and cat cut w/turbo tube going into a dynomax single in, dual out. I have a 136k miles on it and cant spin the tires while rolling. My neighbor's 93 can and he has cat cut w/flowmaster and a stock intake w/ kn filter. I was just wondering if my truck was the slow one of the bunch. I know everyone can power brake, but just wondering if everyone can let off brake and punch it, will it spin?

I have an intense stage 3 f and b tb accelerator single in dual out and an iat mod and i cant spin um either from a rolling start. Is your neighbor's a manual?

heck my truck wont even power brake. it wont spin em at all unless its rainin or on gravel. its a 97 3.9 with the limited slip but i think it also has 3.55 gears so it sucks.

mine spins occasionally, always when it rains, I hate stops lights in a storm, I end up side ways, and I have toyo tires.

I can do 1 legged burnouts all day....well I used to till I broke the tranny, heh! But as far as breaking the tires loose while on the move....only when I'm taking a turn or poping a U-ey I can punch it, tires spin, truck slides....I loved it........it'll be back damnit.

I have a 02 quad and i cant brake torque either the only way is in the rain like the others. I was told its because the truck is so heavy. I think its a lack of power.

I have a 93 3.9. 5speed, w/flowmasters, I can spin anytime I want, usually all they way through 2nd. My hp is around 210 though.

I just put my stock tires back on. When its cool out I can get a little bark while rolling. No my neighbors truck is auto. Maybe he's talking trash, but I dont think so. We raced when I had 235/75/15 and he walked away pretty good, Id say about 3-4 lengths in the quarter.

I can break them loose rolling at about 15 mph in first gear. I used to be able to break them loose in 2nd from about 30 mph until i put the 255 wide tires on there. I have manual tranny, flowmaster exhaust, cowl induction, v8 tb, 1.7 roller rockers, centerforceII clutch, underdrive pullies, some fuel and timing modifications, powerflo air filter, plus a 40 shot of nitrous just in case :)

i have a stock 2k dak with brand new michelins and mine spin pretty easily especially while turning or if theres a little bit of water

I have an 02 SXT bone stock. It's the 3.9 4x4 aoutomatic. In the rain they spin no problem. I can sometimes power brake, somtimes not. Never from a rolling start except on a wet surface.

when i had my old tires on mine i could spin them easily and churp into second cause they were pretty bald but i have new tires now and i can churp first and sometimes into second too. when it is raining my tires spin too easily, i cant even try getting off the line fast or my tires are spinning and im barely moving. my truck is automatic reg cab k&n filter, glass pack dual exhaust, 8.8mm racing ignition wires.

I can chirp mine going into third gear on new BFGoodrich tires. I have a 5-speed and 3.21 gears! (2000 3.9L)

Ok, with the original tires on the 15x7 rims, I couldnt make them stop spinning on a hard launch. But with the new tires on 15x8 rims (235/65/15) It is hard to spin them but it still happens.

I have a 94 dakota with a 3 inch lift, and 33 inch tires, with a v8 tb, flowmaster, cold air, and that's bout it. I can spin em through first, but I guess having a 5 speed helps.

I can spin mine forever or till i runn out off road or come to a turn since i over heated my axle my spiders welded together and i know have a spooleffect traction is my only problem (keeping it)

446ftlbs of tourque @ the wheels @3260 rpms and 437 HP in 3rd @3600rpm and since i super heated the axel causing the spider gears to weld together i have a problem keeping traction on any road surface and when taking corners
90 dodge dakota convertible with 4bbl carter on MP 4bbl v6 intake manifold MP .430/.450 cam ported heads, scat h beam connecting rods, keith black forged 10.5:1 pistons, MP 2wd headers no cat, flow master 40 series with dumps behind differential 12.7@ 107.2 with street tires and top on 12.6 if i take the top off.

I have an automatic 97 3.9L 4x4 dakota with 125,000m. I cannot power brake unless its wet, from a dead stop to my hardest launch on a clean dry surface it wont spin. I can spin them around turns always. Also the truck doesnt break sideways unless its wet, and even then I have to be goin fast and cutting it hard.

burn out even if its just a little.....but on some
kind of asphalt i can lightly power brake then
punch it ...and ill never see the end of white

I have a 93 2wd 3.9 AUTOMATIC TRANNY!!!I can spin them only if i power brake and leave it in 1st...i hate havin tranny shift in 2nd while im burnin em...but once it gets going i can spin em all day too..only problem is the rpm's...i tend to want to keep the gas wide open...thats a NO NO...my 3.9 has the most torque at 3200rpm so i needed to stay around there..any higher and its a waste plus the fuel pump relay triggers and shuts down the pump for over revving..i have 15x7 running Walmart's Dakota Tires OffRoad Tires...235/75/15..i can powerbrake anywhere dry or wet
