okay, so I was driving my mom's car yesterday (2001 BMW X5) with those HID headlights and then I got into my truck and my lights are wicked dim. does anyone else notice this?
what can I do to get them brighter?

Ya, those true HID lights are great, unless your on the other end.
You can actually put an HID light system in (its not just bulb, bulbs alone will only give you the color). But they are very expensive and do drain more horses(as they take more power to run).
If you got the money look for a kit, I love the lights too.

Actually the HID use less power than stock lights. I tried putting some in my ram. They didnt work. I called the guys an they said I need to hook them up to the battery. Now I gotta go to a pro.
