 Subject: performance for father's day

My father has a '97 Dakota with a V6 and I'd like to get him something for his truck for father's day. Was thinking of ignition upgrades -- MSD 6A, etc. Don't know much about the Dakota or good suppliers. Anybody willing to offer advice, warnings, or other information?
