My gas gauge doesnt work on my 93 dodge dakota ext. cab 3.9L V6. We know that it is the sending unit thats bad. Does anyone know if u have to replace the fuel pump with this yr of dakota cuz some of them u do? And in order to replace it u have to drop down the gas tank. How much $$$ would somethin like this cost to replace? Some input on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanx :)

Shank thanks for the help but i think where going to have a mechanic fix it. I was just concerned about the cost of it? Thanx for helpin tho. People like u are what makes this site revolve. :)
