Message: Here is what I did for my hood latch. I bought a heavy picture hanging kit, a few bucks, that has a steel cable. I tool a piece of old fish tank hose, imo any type of small diameter hose would work. I fed the steel cable through the hose, cable tied the hose right down the center of the grill. Wrapped the cable around latch, cable tied this as well. Then finally used an old key ring, formed a loop in the steel wire at bottom for key ring, bam your done. I have had this setup for almost 6 months, with no problems.
