I am currently looking at the Transgo shift kit on ebay for about 60 dollars. Has anyone had any experience with these? Is it worth the money and was acceleration improved? Thanks all.

what transmision? My buddy put a transgo kit in a 98 Mustang and you could hardly tell the difference. I have a Mopar Performance shift kit to put in my a500. I checked a few mopar enthusiests that said it was my best bet. Good Luck.

Mopar shift kit is made by TransGo same thing.
It firms up your shifts and will make your tran's
last longer.
My trans has not acted up since I installed the
kit.
I have installed about 6 in trucks at the shop
and all were pleased with the kit.
Yes worth the money

Yeah dude, go for it. I had it put in my 1990 V6. My engine isnt the strongest cuz its the premag. But with the shift kit, my rpms are alot better in 1st and 2nd. I got the "stage 2 kit" totally worth it.

I took it to a reputable tranny shop and they say that in their experience for chrysler vehicles they dont recommend putting in the transgo but instead the sure cure shift correction. They absolutley refused to install it for me....i dont mind taking it somewhere else, but this raises a red flag about the kit for me...any thoughts??

I haven't installed the kit yet so I can not report how I like it. I bought it because thats what the mopar guys said they would run.

My only recomendation is not to set the MP kit up on "full race" if you drive it alot.
I only drive my 94 when Im in the mood to have fun and on full race it hits hard all the time.
I have to be carefull on wet roads, with 4.10's, that kit it is a bit scary just driving normal!!

sweet, I like it when it feels like the dash is going to come of during the shift. I had no idea that there were different settings on the MP kit. I'll have to look at that tonight when I get home from work.

What kind of vehicle did you get your rear end out of. Did you have to make it shorter? That is one of the things I am trying to figure out.

Its out of a 70 Cuda, the only major thing that needs to be done for an 8 3/4 install is cutting off and welding on new spring perches and welding on lower shock mounts.
Theres alot of smaller details if you care to know post your email and I'll outline em for you.

fazdak, what kinda revs do you run with the 4.10s? Like at 60 and 75 mph. I have been thinking of gearing that lately. Thanks

I dont have the speedo reset for the 4.10's yet.
I dont do any highway with it so I really dont have any need to.
I have 255/60-15's on it.
