I just recently had to take my boat trailer to get it weighed so I could get license plates for it. I just went down to the local truck stop and most all of them will have scales for the trucks to use to make sure they are the correct weight before getting on the interstate. You will have to pay for the weighing, but it is not that expensive. Hope that helps.

Go to a grain elevator or somewhere they use large trucks to haul heavy items... and ask if they will weight your truck. That's what I've done.

Load up some scrap iron and steel, go to a recycling yard, weigh as you drive in, unload, weigh as you drive out, collect your money for the scrap iron, and there you are, you get PAID to weigh your truck!
