 Subject: transfer case

I just got a 1988 v-6 4x4. the transfer case needes servicing and I had to clean about a foot of red mud off it just to see it. I cannot find a fill plug on it anywhere and have not been able to find a service manual for it yet either. HELP! Is it recessed under the mud or what is the deal?

It should be a very large headed short bolt under or just left (view from back) of your Driveshaft output. You might hafta pull your Skid Pans off and then powerwash the underside.
