Message: Would like to know how to charge my AC. I have the charging kit and 134a refrigerant and I have started the engine and put the Ac on High, but the compressor wont come on because of a low limit switch. I assume? How do I get the unit to come on so I can charge the unit?

Message: First off, have you fixed the leak in the system?
Second, i wouldn't use the home recharger kits because you never know if you have the right amount of oil and the right amount of refrigerent in the system. Also when a shop recharges it with a machine the evacuate the system for at least 15 minutes, this boils all of the water out of the system so that it will work properly.
Third, did the instructions say to fill the system with the vehicle on? Some of the kits i have seen just have you open a valve and the pressure from the can pushes it into the system.
