Subject: AC Problem? IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2002 dak sprt 4wd that seems to run the AC compressor almost all the time. When I look at the pulley it engages the compressor even with the AC off. It will stop if I turn the AC on for a while then off. Thanks in advance for the help

Message: The A/C unit will cycle even with it turned off
that is normal. Needs to circulate the lubricant
so it don't seize up when not in use.
I hear mine click on and off all the time.

Message: Most vehicles will also turn the a/c on when the defroster is on to dry the air and stop the windows from fogging.
