If you are looking at a cold air set up you should
get better throttle response and gas milage.

And a slight increase in power.

I don't sell any parts we are just repair and restoration.

Only get parts for customers when they want them.

We do B Body restorations and for the last 2 years
have been doing Hi Perf Dodge trucks

We work on a lot of trucks and see almost
everything that they will do, usualy nothing
serious that can not be corected.

I will help anyone who asks maybe that is why we
have been in business for 30 years now. We are
fair and honest to our customers and man we have
a lot of them now with the Dodge Truck stuff
word gets around quick.

Treat your customers right and they will be back

Hey Larry,I had a piece of allthread fall into my carb on fri. I was running 65 mph at the time and it destroyed # 5 sparkplug and bent a pushrod. It apparently went out the exhaust so I replaced the plug and pushrod fired it up and it ran fine.Do you think I should pull off the head and see exactly what if I fragged anything or should I let it go?The engine is a 360 in my 87 Ram.

Sounds like it was between the piston and valve
while it was opening that would explain the broken
push rod.

I would definitely take a compression test on that cyl
and see how it is doing.

If it bent the valve it would be missing does it idle ok.

I am sure there is a nick in the piston, as far as pulling
it down that would be your guess is as good as mine
it may have done very little damage it may have gone
out the exh or still be in there stuck in the port or on
the piston.

Take the compression test and run it easy for a few days
and see if any symptoms arise.

Do you have a stethoscope run it rev it some and see if you
can hear a rattle in that area if so pull it down.

Do you have a magnet on a flexible shaft put the piston
near top and probe around in there see if you pick up
any particles of metal.

That's a hard one to call. How big was the peice that
went in?
