Superchips sent me some dyno results for their new 3715 programmer.

I believe they tested a stock V6 (I asked...they haven't answered yet). I'm not sure why the stock numbers are as low as they are...I would have expected stock to see 130 RWHP or so.

Perhaps they used a "Mustang" chassis dyno?
I have tried a Dyno Jet & a Mustang Dyno back to back, and the numbers are pretty far off.
So check to see what kind of test it was.
Also, I would guess at 25% driveline loss for a Dak. So it looks like 115 HP @ the rear wheels "stock" on the chart there??? 115 RWHP divided by .75 = 153.3 HP @ the crank stock.
Might be right for a hagged out stock V6 maybe?

So how much is this costing you for the superchip? and can i get one? i need more horse power and hella more torque mostly torque though. Or do you know of anything i can do to bring more torque back into my truck?

Change the rear gears, It will give you more off the line but your losing on the top end.
Higher RPM and more Gas burn in the top end.

I'm getting the Superchip programmer for $325. Assuming their numbers are accurate, it looks like the best bang for the buck for adding torque & HP. The results above are for a stock V6, so additional modifications should be enhanced by the reprogramming.

The "3715" Dodge SUV/Truck "GAS" Micro Tuner is very simple to install. Plug the Micro Tuner into the vehicles ALDL diagnostic port, located inside the vehicle. Program your Dodge Ram truck with "Superchips Signature Tuning" in just a few minutes and get more horsepower and torque.
User options on the "3715" are as follows.
Raise rev limiter
Raise speed limiter
Correct speedometer for tire height changes on 2 and 4 wheel drive vehicles
Speedo corrections will work on all, except some very early 1998 models.

You must run premium (93 octane) gas when running the superchips program. It works by uploading the superchips program into your computer and downloads the original to the tuner. Once this is done you cannot program another vehicle until you remove the superchips program from your truck and replace it with the original stock program. It can be used with multiple vehicles, just not at the same time.
