Message: It was a engine that MOPAR made between 66-69 that was based on the LA series of engines it came with a steel crank and that little engine loved to rev also it was the only MOPAR smallblock to come with a solid cam and adjustable rockers the highest output for the 273 was 275hp with 325lbs of torque it was finally phased out due to the 340 development and the 318 plus MOPAR deemed it to small for normal production cars of the time. I had one in my 69 DART man that motor would hit 7500 rpm with no valve float at all. Hopefully that helps you if not look into www.ALLPAR.com
