Message: Can anyone tell me, do these things work? Where can I get one. Looked on truck performance but did not find any for 2002 3.9. I just want to know if i'm wasting my money. Oh, and another thing. Is it bad to use injector cleaner at each oil change? thanks

Message: You wont really feel a big difference with the pullys, but they do give you a good amount of torque for the money about 25-30 ft/lbs and about 8 HP. To get these v6's moving you definitely need all of the torque you can get :) I sell them on my website check it out.

Message: I have the full set from ASP (it uses the same factory belt) and I was very happy with the result. They do perform as Ryan says. I got mine through Summit Racing though.

Message: if you put a whole set on won't that affect your charging rate with the alternator or voltage while the truck is running like dimming lights and that kind of thing?

Message: yup. i put on the alt. and crank pulley. the voltage meter at idle reads at like 10-11 volts. it does dim the lights but once over 1100 rpm it'ss got full charge.
Personally, i didn't notice any difference at all. sure when it's cold out there is a little more chirp after just starting the engine up, but nothing really noticeable.

Message: Ryan,
no offense but if they put out that much torque you better feel it. They offer complete three pulley kits for up to 98-99 models i believe and only like crank pulleys for the newer ones... the newer kotas really dont like the alt. underdrive.
SOLUTION: get a alt. pulley from a genII kota... they are a right inbetween the ASP and stock pulley so you dont loose all the volts.
