My dak was recently rear ended pretty bad had to replace half of the bed exhaust was wrecked its a 99 reg cab v-6 i love this truck been almost bulit proff nothin ever wrong with it has 70,000 miles on it did some aftermarket things to it gibson sxhaust jba headers intake roll pan billet grill bunch of other lil things only owe $1,500 bucks too well i have been thinkin bout trading it in and gettin a new SRT-4 neon but havin a hard time decide was thinkin of keepin the dak and makin her lil faster but the SRT-4 has way more potential. well just wonderd what some of ya guys would do in my position

srt-4 is 19,900 wrx is 25,000 + i would love wrx but srt more of my price range and comprable performance

If you want to get rid of your Dak DON'T trade it in .You will get screwed.Put it back to close to stock as possible and sell the performance parts.Then sell the truck yourself and you will have a good chunk to put down on another vehicle.This is just my 2 errr..5 cents worth.

Thanx yeah was plannin on sellin it in the paper maybe sell some parts off of it but was wonderin what u guys think bout keepin a 99 reg cab v-6 thats prety much paid off or gettin a new srt-4

I personally would pay off my Dak and mod the heck out of it.Think of the money you'll have to play with when you don't have a payment.

i would say neon. i used to have a neon, wasnt turbo but i did some work to it. probably the funnest car i have enver driven. i wish i had the opportunity to get a srt-4

Did you know that the new SRT-4 Neon was tested in the 13's for 1/4 mile time??? That is faster than the 2003 Trans Am! I would definately take this car over a WRX. I hate to dee the Dakota go.. but if you are going to get a car, go with the neon ;-)

When did the 03 TA come out? GM stopped production with the 02. And no matter what you call it, the SRT-4 is just a fukcing Neon, just another whigger mobile. Yes, it may be the fastest hay wagon in the trailer park but it will always be a POS Neon.
Comparing the Dakota to any car is stupid. But I would buy a WRX over a Neon even if it meant saving for 6 months more or borrowing more. A few mods and the WRX will spank any Neon.
BTW, I hate Neons and always will. My 97SC was a horrid money pit and probably the single biggest POS ever made. But it was after all a cheap whigger mobile.

Well thanx guys i love my Dak a lot but just will never get the performance out of like i could a srt-4 but then a gain no car payment would be real nice but new mopar car has that 7 yr 100,000 mile warranty too i havent made up my mind yet but thanx for the input guys

hay sat, If you want to get a SRT go for it. I have one, and done a few mods on it. Low 13s. As for the individual huh, When on of those so called hay wagons lines up next to you and hands your ass to you, it was a whigga mobile that just smoked me, is all you will be saying.

Even if the Neon is faster, it is STILL a Neon, the same car you see 100 times a day...
...but everybody has a preference. :)
