The 48mm is made for the v6. If you go too big, the 50mm, you will lose low end torque. If your going to run ported heads and cam or a blower on your v6 then the 50mm would be better for you. If not stick to the 48mm. I sell them on my website check it out.

The difference is about 150 bucks..lol. The 48mm is an f&b tb the 46mm is a fastman tb. The f&b are all new casting while the 46mm fastman are rebuilt ported stockers. Dan (the fastman) can also make you a 48mm tb instead of the v6 mm for the same price. Check out his website too www.thefastman.com. All depends on how much money you want to spend and if you want to keep your old throttle body. The difference between the f&b and the fastman are really neglidgeable

In order

V8 TB good about $125
Fastman 46mm better $250 with exchange
F&B 48mm Best $380

I have tried them all on my 3.9 staying with
the F&B. But my truck has every mod short of
a blower or turbo.

I think I am going to get the 3.9 stroker kit next
spring. I love my V6

Depending on how full your wallet is. LOL

F&B will give you about 4 more hp and 10 torque
over the V8 body and 2hp and about the same torque
over the fastman.

Not a hell of a differance but there is some

The F&B also will give better respose at any position.

The V8 Body is a 50mm bore with a torque step that
brings it down to 48mm

Ads about 10 to 15 RWHP
Very noticeable power increase
