That is my friend's 2000 Formula. It is bad ass. It ran 13.4 at like 120 or something like that. It is bone stock.

I ran 17.1 bone stock before my exhaust. Also I think i could of done better because I messed up at the lights.

you shouldputas much money as you can under the hood then do the body. because if you think about it all of the money you are using to do things to the body that will not make yourtruck fast!!!!!!! but if you want to do that to youtruck first more puwer to you.

Yeah I know. I wanted to get the appearance of my truck upgraded first. This summer I am going to work a lot since im off from school, and use that money for engine mods. I want to get Cold Air and a TB first. After that I am not sure exactly what to go for.

Not all v6 dakota's are "peglegs". I have a Dakota Sport, it has 3.92 gears in it. I bought it like this. Not All 6's have one wheel peel. I have a friend with a 92 Dakota and his also has Posi.
I bought my truck in 1999- it was 2 years old. The previous owner was an old man who did absolutely nothing to the truck. There is nothing aftermarket done to my rear-end.

I have a 2000 sport v6 5spd.
I didnt know if i had a posi.
So I gave it the posi test.
This is how you know if you
have a posi.
Get the tires spinnin
in dirt then keep them
spinnin as you begin
to strattle the road.
One tire should be on pavement
and the other in dirt.
If you have a posi there will
a burnout mark on the pavement.
If you have an open diff. then
only the tire in the dirt would
have spun.
By the way my 2wd 5spd v6 dakota
has a posi from the factory that
has been tested many times on the
beach when the sand gets soft.

I have a 92 with an open diff. It will spin both tires in soft sand, dirt, rain, whatever. When your in something that forgiving, you can get both wheels to break loose easily. To really find out if you have a limited slip would be to check the axle tag, or the glove box on the new Daks. If both of those are gone, jack up the rear of the truck under the axle until you can easliy rotate both tires. Turn one tire by hand. If both wheels turn in the same direction, congratulations, you have limited slip. If they turn in opposite directions, you have an open diff, peg leg, or whatever you want to call a non posi.
