What up...

I had some serous misfiring problems about 2 weeks ago. I swapped out the plugs and it has run fine for 800 miles.

Now its doing it again, just not as bad.

When i took out the old plugs it almost seemed as if there was a little oil around the rings.
And it seems that my oil gage is a litte high.

what could it be?

now you know thats..................

Hey sic,
Is the miss at low rpms?

If it is then you are getting what I am getting. I think that mine is caused by TPS. There is an adjustment technique on speedtweaks.com.
I'm going to try it once I figure out how to measure the volts.

yr/engine model/mileage? I was having similar problems with my '93 3.9L. Drove me nuts! the check engine code #22? told me "Internal Fuel Injection Problem" DUHH! I knew that already! on the front of the intake behind the a/c compressor and behind the alternator are 2 small sensors screwed in, one should be a 2 wire and the other a 1 wire, they test the engine temp and adjust the fuel/air flow... each are about $6-$7. the 1 wire was cracked which let water in & corroded the connection. If that dont work there is a larger "Air flow temp sensor" which should be on the pass side front/top of the intake behind the fuel rail, same situation ($22). that solved my problem & hope it helps you also.
