 Subject: TV cable question

Hey I just recently installed an f and b 48 mm throttle body and my shift points are off a little. This may be a dumb question but I have never done it so Im asking anyways. How do I adjust my tv cable for my tranny. I know its the cable that runs from the tb towards the firewall, I just wanna know if there is anything special to adjusting it. Thanks....
