Subject: Bi-Level Vents don't work IP: Logged
Message: I have a 99 RC, 3.9 auto - I love the truck, but I do have one complaint. Now that I have moved to Florida and find the need to run my A/C, I have discovered I don't get any airflow whatsoever from my dash vents. My son and I tore the dash apart today trying to see if we could see anything obvious, all vacuum lines hooked up although it doesn't seem to matter if you disconnect any of them - you still only get air from the defrost or floor.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem or do I need to break down and pay the big bucks at the dealer. If I was still in Michigan I could care less, but I am sweating my butt of here. LOL

Message: Sounds like your fan is bad. Maybe replacing it might help.
Wouldn't want any other!
