Message: Hey Larry where did you get the hood for you dak? Kinda looks like an old 440-6pack hood but i cant tell from dead ahead. Any way i have to agree i have a 96 3.9 4x4 cc with 125,000 and not a single problem. I too will be driving my truck till the wheels fall off. Some day i hope to proudly say that my truck has a quarter of a million miles and still going.

Message: it could happen with proper care and maintenence. I've heardo n more than one occasion that daks have lasted well into the 300,000 mile range with no rebuilds, but of course, heavy maintenence.
mine is approaching 200k, and it seems like i could make it to 1/4 mil.
