They're all Dodges and they're all Dakotas and they're all Magnums that share similar technology and engineering. V6ers bought the truck for their needs or for what they can afford. Its a plenty powerful truck for normal truck duties. Why must some fudgepackers post these ignorant comments daily?

Cant we all just get along, i can see arguing with imports or ford or chevy drivers, but conflicts amoung us dodge dakota owners is really unsettling. Do something better with the extra time on your hands because your just wasting valuable posting space on this forum! No one cares if your mommy and daddy bought you a v8 dakota, and no one cares if you can or can not spank a v6, we are all pretty much on the "same team" here. I mean god damn! Grow up!!!

goddamn, all you stupid sons of bitches arguing about dumb stuff. the v-6 is not a race motor and niether is the 318. they are dakotas, not friggin drag cars. we bought them for thier hauling ability. sure its fun to hot rod them once in a while, but $@#%, leave the bragging rights to guys who run 9 second quarter miles in streetable vehicles.

Keep your V8
My V6 has drivability and it is fun to drive
20 to 25mpg on the hyway and its a 4X4.
F&B 48mm, JBA, 1.7RR, MSD, ASE Chip
and a lot more.
Lets put it this way I plan on driving it forever.
