Message: Yes they will if they are the one with the v-8/v-6 style bell housing that dodge engines use(I do not know what the pattern of the jeep 4.0 tranny, which is the other major application of this tranny, if it is the same or not) The dakotas used ax-15 tranys until I belive 2000 on the v-6 models until they switched to a nv3500. The ax-15 couldn't handle the weight of the dakota pulling trailers like the factory rated the trucks to do so. So they upgraded to a hevier tranny. I have seen many problems with the ax-15 in the dakota(not every one will) and even though I love dodge I would not buy one until the 2000's came with the nv3500 which is a stout tranny. Have a good one
