 Subject: V8 Throttle Body

I have a question concerning installing a V8 throttle body on a 3.9 V6. I purchased a V8 throttle body off of a 2001 5.9L and expected it to fit my 1999 3.9L. Everything is the same except the throttle linkage. Does anyone have an easy solution to this problem. Thanks for any suggestions.

You have to change the throttle cable to a V8 one for a dakota

Just change the linkages, weld the V6 linkage onto the V8 TB... takes less than 10 minutes and costs nothing.
