over the last few weeks my 89 w/ 3.9 and 162.000 miles has been losing power , recently on my home from work the truck just cut off in traffic , I did a tune-up and replaced the pick-up coil and shutdown relay , I also had the head gaskets , timing chain / gears and water pump replaced , on a side note , I was looking under the hood and happen I noticed that my neg. bat was not terminated to the block so I connected it and no change whatsoever , I checked the codes and Im getting #12 and #34 ( speed sensor ? ) would this sensor cause a the performance prob. Im having ? sorry for the long post !
