Hi all:
My 97 Dakota is not shifting and have the check engine light on. I ran a scanning and got the error code p0753 (3/4 shift solenoid circuit problem). Any of you got this problem before?
I need help to solve this. Thanks

You need to have the dealer check it out, could be a bad solenoid, or a wiring problem.

i had the same problem and the valve body was bad. it cost me 100 bucks for the deductible on my extended warranty but if i didn't have it, i think that it would have been around $450
