 Subject: exaust question

I'm pickin up a flowmaster 40. For those of u who put these on, what size is the pipe that connects the cat to the muffler, do i need a 3inch input or 2 1/2? Also, what do u reccomend for the single output size? Thanks,

It's 2 1/2 and you should keep it 2 1/2 all the way for backpressure purposes

Brad is correct. Keep it 2 1/2, many people think it's real cool to slap some 3" pipes on but all you end up with is less torque!
