Message: i got the dynomax super turbo muffler put on with the stock piping and a 3.5 inch tip and it doesnt sound much different than stock! I have the 3.9 v6 and i just wanted better sound. I dont care about perfomance, i have a modified 5.0 for perfomance needs. any suggestions? does the muffler have to break in? or is the tip to big?

Message: Which muffler did you put on, Dynomax model?
Just asking, cause mine sounded awsome with the dynomax on it.

Message: Yeah, I remember the same thing when I got my super turbo put in. I went from a glasspack with dual tailpipes to a single outlet super turbo Dynomax. At first it sounded like crap (almost stock) but I've put about 5,000-10,000 miles on it and it sounds sweet now! Just give it some time to break in, I'm happy I got it now.

Message: I had the same problem, but with the Cherry Bomb Vortex Muffler.Sounded no different from stock at first...Now it rumbles and actually vibrates my kitchen window...all that from a v-6 single outlet. Not too shabby!
