Hi there dak owners. Let me just start by saying out trucks rock. Now to the point. I own a 1988 dak sport 3.9 auto 2wd. I was wondering if it is possible to hook up the a500 tranny to my baby? im planing on gettting the jet a500 tranny for her and just want to make sure it will fit.

Im not 100% sure... but i think the A500 is what you already have... Unless maybe they didnt make those in 88? but you should have already had the A500...

do you have a o/d now or is it the 3 speed?
they had both in 88,if you have the 3 speed now you,ll need to shorten the drive shaft[because the 500s are about 6" longer for the o/d unit]
also some wiring because the o/d unit is electric
[you,ll need a switch and some wire, pretty basic]
