 Subject: Need some help!!

I just installed an f & b 48mm throttle body on my 2001 3.9 and I had to modify my air hat to fit it on the tb. Now it doesnt seal tight around my tb. I already cut the tb bolt and the airhat still wont seal tight around the tb. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what to do, could I buy an aftermarket airhat or is there another alternative. Thanks for the help.

If the air hat just won't tighten down, make an "S" bolt (see other posts for dimensions) to bolt the air hat to the throttle body. If the air hat has a jagged edge and won't seal use 1/4" weather stripping around the edge of the throttle body. Good luck.

Still wont seal right, does anyone know if a stock v8 airhat would work??
