Subject: higher displacement V6 IP: Logged
Message: i understand that the 5.9 and 5.2 have basically the same block, and that the 3.9 is essentially a 5.2 w/ 2 cylindars missing. my question is whether it would be possible to have the 3.9 bored out and use stock-size parts for a 5.9. Also, should this be possible, would that require some work on the heads to match the block?

Message: You could always just pull it out and stroke it.....But really, they sell a stroker kit for the 3.9 from the information i got from the company who sells it; one its very expensive (about 2500 if i remember correctly) and two it strokes it out to a 4.7 He had no word on power numbers for it.
