dudes and duddettes,
i'm planning to get a higher gear than my 2000 Dodge Dakota 3.9L VSixer..... its a 3.55. what size should i get? and would an R/T fit mines? i think they are a different size though... please let me know what size i have so i can get the right application for my V Sixer......

You have an 8.25" rear, the RT has a 9.25" rear w/3.93's. You should contact Randys Ring and Pinion to get 3.93's to fit your truck. They run about $250 for the gears and a limited slip is an extra $150. Keep in mind you will have labor as this is a task only a pro with a warranty should take on. Good luck!
