 Subject: Spark plugs

I have a 99 dakota 3.9L and i changed my spark plugs about 5k miles ago.I had a pinging noise before and after i put the autolite coppers in it went away.But the pinging niose started up again.Is my spark plugs bad again or what?I can't see spark plugs going bad in 5k miles.Thanks for any help

Forgot one thing...I had new brake pads and rotors put on about 9k miles ago and they are now grinding.But they don't grind every time i hit the brakes.Sometimes they do it when there cold and sometimes when there hot.Any ideas on this?It his 54k miles on it nowThanks
