i just picked myself up a 91' extended cab. pretty decent shape, cept the paint is peelin quite a bit. anyways, its slow to shift and when it finally does it shifts with a pull. Even on a "barely touchin the pedal(sp)" acceleration, it shifts at about 2200, and pulls back a bit. im not sure if its normal or not, just want to ease my mind a bit. obviously this is an auto trans. and oh yeah...cost me $1700 after tax/reg/smog, not bad eh;)?

could be in need of an overhaul.
Drop the pan sometime, and check for metal shavings.

yeah, im gonna have to do that, im just a little lazy i guess.
what tranny came with the 3.9? A500? and does it have a throttle cable or vacuum modulator? sorry guys, im new to the mopar scene :-/
